Thus offering the consumers a host of world-class products with promise of a reliable nation wide after sales and technical backup.
In last seven years of operation, the Diagnostic Division has created a niche for itself, in the medical equipment industry by introducing many innovative and revolutionary clinical and home diagnostics products in the country. The division launched two new brands, the rapid test kits "QuickChek" and self-health diagnostic products "Home Health". The launch of these two brands has not only consolidated Morepen's Home diagnostic business but has also given the company phenomenal distinction of first organized player in home diagnostics in India.
The launch of new age rapid Test kit in the brand name "QuickChek" was a major achievement as this was the first step towards establishing a wider concept on point of care diagnostics Assays. The "QuickChek" portfolio includes products like Pregnancy test, Hepatitis test, HIV test, Urine Strips etc.
Recognizing the need of self-monitoring health care products to manage excessive stress of the fast paced lifestyle of today, Morepen has launched range of self-monitoring health care products branded as "Dr Morepen Home Health". These world-class products from Home Health are supported nationwide by technical and sales service backup. Morepen already has a JV with Beurer Gmbh of Germany, Microlife AG of Switzerland and Infopia Co. Ltd. of Korea to cater this segment. Beurer & Microlife are the world leaders in lifestyle self health care products and offers premium quality and reliable products worldwide. While Infopia is world renowned for Blood Glucose monitoring equipment.
The present Home Health portfolio includes automatic Digital Blood Pressure Monitors, Digital and Analogue Weighing Scales, Body Fat Scales, Body & Foot Massagers, Heat Therapy range, Nebulisers, Blood Glucose Monitors etc. The company is identifying technological leaders internationally, to offer innovative technologies to the Indian consumers.
The Clinical Diagnostics division also caters to the Point - of - Care market segment by offering state of the art hand held analyzers from M/s HemoCue AB, Sweden. HemoCue are proven world leaders in the field of point of care testing for Hemoglobin, Glucose, Urine Microalbumin etc. These systems offer combined benefits of point of care testing & highest accuracy of test results.
The product portfolio in Clinical Diagnostics also include Coagulation analyzers, reagents, ELISA instruments & infectious marker kits. In addition to these, this division also markets Rapid Malaria Antigen Test “CareStart” (manufactured by M/s Access Bio Inc., USA) in various formats as required for various diagnostic purposes.
Continuing with the trend of bringing revolutionary technologies in immunohematology segment, Morepen has recently tied with M/s Immucor Inc., USA & launched their patented solid phase technology – “Capture”. M/s Immucor are the proven leaders in immunohematology with state of the art manual & automated systems backed up by total solutions for Blood Grouping & typing, Compatibility Testing, Antibody Screening & Identification etc.
Today this division has an all India network that extends to 250 distributors, 2500 top retailers and also caters to 9000 Hospitals, 7500 Clinical Laboratories & 1500 Blood Banks. |
